Intensive Moscow's Assaults Eliminate Electricity In Ukraine's Capital

Energy infrastructure under attack in Ukraine
Ukraine's power facilities have faced increased strikes in the past few days

During the night, Russian aerial assaults have resulted in power cuts in multiple districts of the capital city, the Ukrainian capital.

Nine people were injured while residents in eastern districts were left without electricity and encountered interruptions to drinking water, as stated by local authorities.

Simultaneously, a seven-year-old child was lost their life in a different aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia area in the southeastern part, according to area administrators.

Moscow has intensified strikes on energy facilities over the past few days, while Ukrainian leadership has demanded "concrete actions" from partner nations to apply pressure on Russia.

"The necessity is not symbolic gestures but firm measures - from the US, Europe and the Group of Seven - in providing defensive weapons and enforcing restrictions," he wrote in a public message.

He said that 450 drones and over thirty rockets struck energy facilities, labeling such attacks as "cynical and calculated" and against "essential services" as winter approaches.

Energy officials said Moscow was "inflicting a massive strike" and technical staff were working to repair systems.

A barrage of missiles damaged power facilities and apartment buildings in Kyiv.

Five out of the nine people wounded in the attacks on the capital have been transported for medical care, as confirmed by municipal representatives.

Area administrators said the city endured heavy assaults overnight. A seven-year-old child was killed and three other people were wounded.

The attacks come after nights of aerial attacks in the territory, parts of which are currently controlled by invading troops.

All of Ukraine is on alert for sophisticated projectile assaults, which are more difficult to spot.

National leaders told reporters that Russia was purposely seeking to destroy the electrical infrastructure, with assaults already affecting fuel infrastructure.

He said energy workers and officials were preparing for further attacks.
