Suspected Harasser Asked: 'However Imagine I Am Madeleine?'
A female indicted with pursuing Kate McCann apparently left her a phone message which questioned: "imagine I am Madeleine?"
The defendant, twenty-four, who a jury heard has repeatedly claimed she was the vanished Madeleine McCann, and her co-defendant are standing trial indicted with harassing Kate and Gerry McCann between June 2022 and February the current year.

While one recording of Ms Wandelt's one-way conversations with Mrs McCann's answerphone expressed: "Imagine there is a tiny probability that I am she? What happens next? Is that not crucial for you?"
"I don't want money, I have a existence here in Poland, I just want to discover," the recording stated.
The tribunal was advised that through electronic messages, mobile messages and communications, Ms Wandelt demanded a DNA test, sent childhood photos to her phone in a effort to demonstrate a similarity to Mrs McCann's disappeared daughter, and claimed to have "flashbacks" from a youth with the McCanns.
The investigator, an intelligence analyst with Leicestershire Police who compiled the information, advised the court there "showed no any answers" from Mrs McCann.
Ms Wandelt additionally contacted close associates of the McCanns, as per the call data.
On 9 October 2024, the father picked up a call from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, saying she had "a wrong number."
