Women’s Super League

12:00 PMManchester City v Arsenal live

Arsenal are feeling the heat just four games into the season, having dropped points in their recent games and disappointing in a draw against Aston Villa last weekend. The Gunners are behind Chelsea by 4 points. City, on the other hand, have recovered from their opening round defeat to notch up three wins in a row and are third in the WSL table, whereas Arsenal are in surprising fifth. Minute-by-minute updates will be offered.

Grand Prix

2:00 PMSingapore Grand Prix qualifying

Live updates will keep you up to date in what is bound to be a compelling session. Back-to-back race wins for Verstappen have added more intrigue to the championship battle. Piastri and Norris will be keen for good performances in the Singapore GP. McLaren’s strong form for the majority of the season means they could claim a tenth constructors championship on race day, but Verstappen's comeback has triggered a few nerves. Although the Australian still leads his teammate by 25 points in what seems a two-driver battle for the driver's championship, any hiccups could allow the Red Bull driver to reduce the 69-pt gap to the lead.

English Football

3pmArsenal v West Ham and Manchester United v Sunderland live

Updates on key fixtures with a pair of managers particularly under pressure. The unrelenting focus on Amorim's travails at United has increased to critical, and the meeting with the Black Cats has all the makings of a watershed before the break for internationals. Amorim’s fiftieth match in charge may be his last, even though the team having won their past two home games. After 49 games, Amorim’s record stands at: 18 wins, 12 draws, 19 losses. That 36.7 percent win rate differs greatly with his predecessor's ten Hag's 70 percent at the same stage. West Ham, meanwhile, play for their second match under Nuno, after Monday’s 1-1 draw at Goodison Park. The Hammers have the curious statistic of having defeated the Gunners back-to-back at the Emirates. A further home defeat by their local rivals seems unlikely given the Gunners’ recent form – six wins from their last eight top-flight matches.

Premier League

5:30 PMChelsea v Liverpool live

Saturday’s late afternoon match sees the collision of teams in a dip in form. Maresca's Blues have suffered successive Premier League defeats, to United and Brighton & Hove Albion, while the defending champions were beaten 2-1 to Crystal Palace before stumbling in the European competition in Istanbul in midweek. Slot's side are winless in their last four Premier League games at Stamford Bridge but have not lost back-to-back league matches since April 2023. Looking for omens? Isak, Liverpool’s summer signing, has scored in his last two Premier League games at the Bridge, though both games resulted in defeats for his then club Newcastle. Live blog will be hosted.

11:45 AMPrix de l’Arc de Triomphe live

All the buildup and washup from one of the racing calendar’s most prestigious events will be available. In a lineup of 17 for the 3.05pm big race, the O'Brien-trained the favorite is the 3/1 favourite after being handed a favourable starting position in gate 1. The trainer, who is seeking a third win in the race, also runs Los Angeles, third-placed last year, but the horse will have to defy gate 14 to win. Aventure, who is just behind the favorite in the odds, was given gate 12. Hopes of a first Japanese winner were dealt a blow, with the Japanese Derby winner, one entry, and the Prix Foy victor, Byzantine Dream, assigned in gates 17 and 15 each. Their countryman Alohi Alii appears better placed in gate 4. Fabre's duo of two runners did better with stalls three and eight respectively, while Graffard's trio Daryz, Quisisana and Gezora.

Lap-by-lap updates of the big race under the night lights will be offered. Obviously Verstappen has form – he was runner-up at his home Grand Prix in the Dutch GP before his wins in Italy and Azerbaijan – but probably still requires a spectacular McLaren drop in form, as well as victories in the seven remaining races and three sprints, to {clin
