She says time is passing quickly for loved ones

Her father Peter was fatally shot with a non-lethal round in 1981 by law enforcement during a disturbance near their family house.

Margaret was 13 years old and her mother, who has passed away, was then raising five children at the age of thirty-seven.

She explains she had to mature almost overnight.

"Our mum changed completely subsequent to my daddy died. I was young. I imagine you adapt over time."

She is calling for an autonomous review into her dad's demise.

"I just want to learn what transpired. I truly do not seek a person to get convicted, I have let go of that now. To me it's too late, but just disclose the facts of what unfolded that evening."

She expresses skeptical regarding the latest initiative.

"Can we expect our external reviews? Can we hope to be provided the actual events? I am not optimistic. I wish I'm mistaken."

She says it will be very difficult to appease all parties.

"Each group have endured immense pain. It's far more than me, it's not only my companions, my relatives. We only ask to be informed the truth and for families to be allowed to heal."
